Mobility
The site is not accessible to wheelchair users or visitors who have difficulty walking. The visit includes:
- A descent of 131 steps via a narrow spiral staircase.
- An ascent of 112 steps to exit.
- A 1.5 km route on uneven, and sometimes slippery, ground.
- Narrow passages with low light.
Strollers and walkers are not permitted.
Health Conditions
The visit is strongly discouraged for individuals suffering from:
- Cardiac or respiratory insufficiency.
- Claustrophobia or anxiety in enclosed spaces.
Sensory Information
The environment is dark, damp, and silent, which may be disorienting for some visitors. Sight-disabled individuals must be accompanied. Guide dogs are permitted.
