For a quick coffee and croissant before your visit, there are several classic cafés right on Place Denfert-Rochereau, such as the Café du Rendez-Vous. The area is also home to excellent boulangeries for a sandwich or pastry to take away and enjoy in a nearby park like Parc Montsouris.

After Your Visit
Remember that the exit is at a different location from the entrance. Near the exit on Avenue René-Coty, you'll find quieter, more residential options. It's a short walk back towards Alésia or Montparnasse for a wider selection of restaurants to discuss your subterranean experience over a good meal.
